Theory Workshop Panel Views Human Agency, Domination

The Friday (November 7) Political Theory Workshop will feature a panel discussion headlined as “Willful Subjects” and featuring two presenters: George Washington University’s Elisabeth Anker — discussing “The Theft of Freedom…” — and Cristina Beltrán of New York University with “…Latino Republicans and the Conservative Logic of Identity.” Panelists take as their starting point the distributed and material quality of human agency and will use literature, film, political theory, current events, and social movement literature to explore the racialized and gendered dynamics of domination and opportunity. The workshop begins at 4 PM in Bunche 4357.
