The Methodology Reading Group is up and running this school year. The format is as follows: one student either presents his or her own work, or chooses to present a paper that employs an advanced statistical method or uses innovative formal modeling techniques. Since attendees can benefit from reading the assigned papers in advance so as to contribute to the discussion, paper(s) will be posted in advance of each meeting. If you would like to present your own work this academic year, please email Flori So at florenceso@ucla.edu.

Meeting time: Every other Mondays at 5:00pm (official time. We will unofficially begin at 5:10pm).

This meeting:

Monday, October 19th: Koji Kagotani

Koji Kagotani will discuss his paper entitled "International Circumstances and the Institutional Performance of Monitoring in Trade Agreements." He will also briefly discuss iterated games in his presentation.

A link to his paper can be download in the official reading group website: http://plone.sscnet.ucla.edu:8080/jefflewis
Click on the tab labeled "papers."

Drinks and homemade snacks will be provided. Hope to see you there!
