Andrew Sabl is an Associate Professor (tenured) of Public Policy and Political Science. He received his Ph.D. from Harvard in 1997 and has taught at Williams College and Vanderbilt University. His research interests include democratic and constitutional theory, political ethics, toleration and pluralism, and the history of political thought. He is the author of Ruling Passions: Political Offices and Democratic Ethics (Princeton) and numerous scholarly articles, and is currently writing a book on the political theory of David Hume's History of England.
