 James Bondurant Instructional Manager and Undergraduate Advisor |
4269B Bunche Hall | 9:00am - 3:30pm (310) 825-1184 bonduran@polisci.ucla.edu James Bondurant as Instructional Manager ensures that the space, equipment, class scheduling and other instructional and informational needs are accommodated. He is responsible for class scheduling, course enrollment, coordinates and plans summer sessions courses, on-line book ordering, faculty and staff office assignments, scheduling of department-controlled instructional equipment, seminar and conference room space. James Bondurant also serves as Student Affairs Officer/Undergraduate Program, advises students about degree requirements for the major in Political Science. He processes petitions, refers students to other University resources, handles grade changes, incompletes, and grade rosters. He coordinates the departmental graduation ceremony and works closely with the Political Science Student Organization, The Honor's and Pre-Law Societies. He works closely with the Vice Chair for Undergraduate Affairs on student life and welfare issues. |

He provides recruitment, admission, orientation and placement services, appoints and assigns Teaching Assistants, monitors student progress to degree. He works closely with the Vice Chair for Graduate Affairs and the Graduate Studies Committee. |

She is responsible for all classweb sites for Political Science courses. She is responsible for database administration, construction and maintenance. She is responsible for training and instructing faculty, staff, postdoctoral and graduate students on the availability, use of, and maintenance of local databases, as well as classweb sites. |
