Edmond J. Keller is Professor and Chair of UCLA Political Science Department, Director of the UCLA Globalization Research Center-Africa, former Director of the James S. Coleman African Studies Center at the University of California-Los Angeles, and recent recipient of the 2008 ASA Distinguished Africanist Award.
