LECTURER POSITION IN POLITICAL SCIENCE

 

The UCLA Department of Political Science expects to hire Lecturers for the 2011-12 academic year.    Subfield is open, but our needs are likely to be greatest in International Relations and American Politics.    Our selection criteria are (1) the candidate's promise or reputation as a scholar, (2) the candidate's record as a teacher, and (3) the candidate's fit with departmental needs.  

To apply for the Lecturer appointments in 2011-12, please submit the following: cover letter, curriculum vitae, teaching evaluations, and a sample syllabus.   These materials should be submitted by March 31, 2011, in hardcopy, to the attention of: Belinda Sunnu, UCLA Department of Political Science, 4289 Bunche Hall, Box 951472, Los Angeles, CA  90095-1472.   

If you have not received your Ph.D. at the time of submitting your application, please ask your dissertation advisor to send a letter that addresses the question of when you will file.  

We expect to notify candidates by May 2011.
