Lecturer Recruitment

The UCLA Department of Political Science currently has two Lecturer positions open - one in the field of American Politics and the other in International Relations for this academic year.

Lecturers are selected on the basis of their promise as scholars, their records as teachers, and their ability to contribute to the undergraduate curriculum.  They are expected to teach four/five upper division lecture courses per academic year.

In order to apply for these Lecturer appointments in 2008-09, please submit a hardcopy of your cover letter, curriculum vitae, a writing sample and teaching evaluations if available by July 31, 2008 to the attention of: Belinda Sunnu, UCLA Department of Political Science, 4289 Bunche Hall, Box 951472, Los Angeles, CA  90095-1472.

Per university policy, the department keeps candidate materials on file for a period of at least three years, but does not always acknowledge all applications for Lecturer positions.
